At an altitude between 300 and 400 meters above sea level, the winery is placed on a stony, calcareous and clayey soil - the Galestro, Chianti’s famous stone. The vineyard occupy the best location, in Southeast- Southwest aspect, choosing the right vine density and selecting the ideal clones. All the organic wines of Rignana are produced with the exclusive use of our grapes: Sangiovese, in a predominant percentage, Canaiolo, Cabernet Franc and Merlot. Respect for the tradition of Chianti Classico area remain our main purpose, in the total respect of the natural resources and trough a careful work carried out in the vineyards and cellars.
